Trump Just Bragged About His Hand Size During A Photo Op With Hurricane Irma Victims

Trump Just Bragged About His Hand Size During A Photo Op With Hurricane Irma Victims

While presidents routinely visit disaster areas to get their hands dirty in recovery efforts, President Trump sees different opportunity in the visits. They are chances to make a show of his “too big” hands.

For the second time in two weeks, Trump has visited an area hit by a hurricane and before food to victims in front of the camera, he struggled to put on gloves and called out to any in earshot that his hands are too big.

On September 3, after Hurricane Harvey wreaked havoc on Southeast Texas, Trump visited Houston where, in the below clip, he started to put on gloves, paused, looked around until he found a camera, and proclaimed “my hands are too big.”

Apparently, Trump was pleased with how the bit went over because he repeated it again in Florida today, in the wake of Hurricane Irma.

It’s nice for a president to be able to joke with people. That, however, is not what this is. The President of the United States has traveled to a disaster site, ostensibly to help people in need and, on at least two occasions, has refocused attention on his own petty insecurities.

And let’s be clear, while many have mocked the Trump’s pea-sized hands, nobody really cares how big his hands are but him. The only reason it is an issue is because it is so pathetically easy to drive his narcissistic obsessions to the irrelevant.

If Trump cared about the future of the American people one-tenth as much as proving his own physical stature, the Executive Branch would be a much more stable place.

Fergie and Josh Duhamel Separate After 8 Years of Marriage: ‘We Are and Will Always be United’

Fergie and Josh Duhamel Separate After 8 Years of Marriage: ‘We Are and Will Always be United’

After eight years of marriage, Fergie and Josh Duhamel are going their separate ways, they confirm to PEOPLE exclusively.

“With absolute love and respect we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year,” the couple said in a joint statement. “To give our family the best opportunity to adjust, we wanted to keep this a private matter before sharing it with the public. We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family.”

The couple — who share a 4-year-old son, Axl — have been honest about the joys and challenges of parenting together.

“I have no idea what I’m doing half the time,” Duhamel previously told Ellen DeGeneres. “She’s definitely more evolved than I am, and more patient,” he said. “But I feel like I’m much more – you know, having a kid when I was 40 years old is much different than having one at 22, so I’m a little bit more mature than I was then.”

While Fergie, 42, and Duhamel, 44, haven’t been spotted in public recently, they looked like a happy family while celebrating their eighth wedding anniversary in January

They also simultaneously gushed about each other on social media while celebrating the milestone. “8 Years!! Love you babe,” wrote Duhamel.

Europa League: Arsenal v Cologne delayed by an hour at Emirates Stadium

Arsenal's Europa League game against Cologne at Emirates Stadium has been delayed by an hour "in the interests of crowd safety", and will now kick off at 21:05 BST.
Thousands of ticketless away fans turned up outside the ground and no supporters were allowed in.
German side Cologne had only been given a ticket allocation of 2,900, but around 20,000 of their fans brought central London to a standstill earlier in the afternoon.
Police said flares were let off but reported "no significant disorder".
Cologne are returning to European competition for the first time in 25 years.
Arsenal have not played in the Europa League since 2000. They missed out on Champions League football by finishing fifth in the Premier League last season

Men Apparently Have No Idea What This Hair Meme Means And Women Are Cracking Up

Men Apparently Have No Idea What This Hair Meme Means And Women Are Cracking Up

"I feel like boys don't understand this tweet and it makes me love it that much more."

On Wednesday, 18-year-old Payton Hicks from Muncie, Indiana, shared these two photos of curled hair and captioned them "you vs. the girl he cheats with."

"I think it has something to do with the curls??" one guy hypothesized.

i think it has something to do with the curls ?? https://t.co/3Oml5JzFq8

"The brown darker on the right," another tried.

Guys were even texting their girlfriends who retweeted @payt_xoxo's meme to find out.

People (mostly women) then started mocking these guys.

LMFAOOO all the boys in the replies so confused but us girls knowing what's up is great 😭 https://t.co/X7ct3Z85DY

your mcm doesn't understand this. https://t.co/jue8naTnhj

Someone even jokingly said they loved the tweet more for its "no-boys-allowed" filter. Jazmin Kelsey, 17, whose response tweet went mega-viral, said she loved Hicks' tweet meme because "it was not only shading boys who cheat, but also throwing it back to stiff-ass ribbon curls."

i feel like boys don't understand this tweet and it makes me love it that much more lmaooo https://t.co/51OAdnE0Qr

"I also liked that it was some Morris code-type shit between the girls," she added.

Hicks admitted that she also got a good laugh at the expense of these confused guys. "It makes it more fun that all of us girls can have, like, a secret inside joke against guys, and they have no clue what it means," she said, laughing.

She said she's even had to explain it to her boyfriend and parents.

I feel like I'm looking at the same hair... https://t.co/UOu53SxfDi

For men reading this post and who are still perplexed...GUESS YOU'LL NEVER KNOW. THANKS FOR YOUR CLICKS, THOUGH.

😂😂😂😂😭 if only you knew lads 🤦🏻‍♀️ https://t.co/9zJKvH9mX6

Just kidding! Not only did a handful of women explain it to some of these guys, a lot of guys (because Not All Men) figured it out on their own.

Some1 said boys don't understand this pic... shit girl on the right curls are too over done looking like she going… https://t.co/yfwxXBohWb

"The curls on the right are too tight and un natural looking. The ones on the left look nice - See i know."

Actress Jennifer Lawrence Thinks Deadly Hurricanes Are 'Mother Nature's Wrath' for Electing Trump

Actress Jennifer Lawrence Thinks Deadly Hurricanes Are 'Mother Nature's Wrath' for Electing Trump

Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence believes Hurricanes Harvey and Irma are Mother Nature's punishment of America for the election of President Donald Trump.

Jennifer LawrenceDuring an interview on British television, ostensibly to promote her new movie “Mother!”, Lawrence weighed in on the “settled science” of climate change, for which she blamed the deadly hurricanes.

The British reporter noted the director of “Mother!” said the film is “dark,” because “it's a mad time to be alive.” She added, “There's certainly sort of end of days feeling about it” before asking Lawrence:

“There are many people in America who would say perhaps it's [more] true there at the moment than anywhere else. What are the thoughts about the changes that have happened in your own country over the last year or so?”

Lawrence was more than willing to provide the desired response:

“You know, it’s this new language that’s forming. I don’t even recognize it. It’s also scary to know that climate change is due to human activity, and we continue to ignore it, and the only voice that we really have is through voting.”

After being further teed up by the reporter with “And you have voted very recently, as a country,” she was ready to blame Trump's election for ”Mother Nature's wrath":

“And we voted, and it was really startling. You know, you’re watching these hurricanes now, and it’s really hard, especially while promoting this movie, not to, not to feel Mother Nature’s rage, or wrath.”

Lawrence said it's all “really polarizing and upsetting,” adding: "I’ve heard things and seen things on TV in my own country that devastate me and make me sick, and it’s just really confusing.”

While she said she has to “feel hope” for America's future, Lawrence referenced a comment by a producer about the film, which he called “an impotent howl of rage.” “It's a helpless howl to the moon,” she added. “It's an assault.”

As noted by Entertainment Weekly, Lawrence said prior to the 2016 presidential election a Trump victory would be “the end of the world.”

Perhaps she believes Hurricanes Harvey and Irma are the beginning of that end.

MRI confirms Eric Berry suffered ruptured Achilles

MRI confirms Eric Berry suffered ruptured Achilles

Eric Berry is done for the season.

Image result for Eric BerryKansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Friday the three-time first-team All-Pro safety ruptured his Achilles tendon in Thursday night's win over the New England Patriots.

Berry was carted off the field midway through the fourth quarter and didn't return after pulling up in coverage of Rob Gronkowski, whom the safety had held in check most of the night.

The news is a massive blow to Kansas City, which must now face the balance of its schedule without the heart and soul of the defense on the field.

"You're not going to replace Eric Berry with another Eric Berry," Reid said, via Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com.

Reid mentioned Daniel Sorensen and Eric Murray as possible options to receive snaps in Berry's absence. Regardless of the replacements, no one was going to fill the shoes of the five-time Pro Bowler. The Chiefs will be forced to get creative to plug the gap.

Berry signed a six-year, $78 million contract in February.

The Achilles tear is the latest adversity for Berry. The 28-year-old was diagnosed with cancer in 2014, which he overcame to return to Pro Bowl form in 2015. Previously he missed 15 games in 2011 after an ACL tear.

There is little doubt Berry will return from his latest injury with force in 2018.

How to find out if you're affected by the Equifax hack

You may have never used Equifax yourself -- or even heard of it -- but the credit reporting agency could still have a treasure trove of your personal information.

cyber attack 1
Equifax said Thursday that 143 million people could be affected by a recent data breach in which cybercriminals stole information including names, Social Security numbers, birth dates, addresses, and the numbers of some driver's licenses.
Additionally, credit card numbers for about 209,000 people were exposed, as was "personal identifying information" on roughly 182,000 customers involved in credit report disputes
Equifax is one of three nationwide credit-reporting companies that track and rate the financial history of U.S. consumers. It gets its data -- without you even knowing -- from credit card companies, banks, retailers, and lenders.
Equifax will not be contacting everyone who was affected, but will send direct mail notices to those whose credit card numbers or dispute records were accessed.
Related: 143 million people could be affected by Equifax breach
The company suggests you sign up for credit file monitoring and identity theft protection. It is providing free service for one year through TrustedID Premier -- whether or not you've been affected by the breach.
To enroll, go to www.equifaxsecurity2017.com and click on the Check Potential Impact tab. You must submit your last name and last six digits of your Social Security number there. At that point you'll be given a date when you can return to the site and sign up for the service.
The site says once you've submitted your information you will receive a message indicating whether you've been affected. But it's unclear when or how you will receive that message.
Some are being told: "Based on the information provided, we believe that your personal information may have been impacted by this incident."
But even in that case, Equifax is not offering the credit monitoring service until next week at the earliest. Monday is the first day you can sign up.
If you do choose to sign up for the credit monitoring service, you must agree to submit any complaints against Equifax to arbitration. You can't sue on your own behalf, and you can't join a class-action case or benefit from any class-action settlement that Equifax agrees to.

The company also recommends that you review account statements and credit reports yourself to check for incidents of fraud. You can request a copy of your credit report online at www.annualcreditreport.com. You are allowed a free copy once a year from each of the three credit reporting agencies: Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion.

Microsoft President To Trump: To Deport A DREAMer, You'll Have To Go Through Us

Microsoft President To Trump: To Deport A DREAMer, You'll Have To Go Through Us

America's business leaders are speaking out against President Trump's move to end DACA.
The president of Microsoft, Brad Smith, took a notable stand. He said not only will his company lobby for a legislative solution but also that Microsoft is calling on Congress to make immigration the top priority, before tax reform. And he is calling on other business leaders to follow suit.
"There is nothing that we will be pushing on more strongly for Congress to act on," Smith said in an interview with NPR. "We put a stake in the ground. We care about a tax reform bill. The entire business community cares about a tax reform. And yet it is very clear today a tax reform bill needs to be set aside until the DREAMers are taken care of. They have a deadline that expires in six months. Tax reform can wait."
Smith also said if the government moves to deport DREAMers who are Microsoft employees, "it's going to have to go through us to get that person."

15 states, DC sue Trump administration over ending DACA

15 states, DC sue Trump administration over ending DACA

NEW YORK (AP) — Fifteen states and the District of Columbia sued Wednesday to block President Donald Trump's plan to end a program protecting young immigrants from deportation — an act Washington state's attorney general called "a dark time for our country."
The lawsuit was filed in the Eastern District of New York. The plaintiffs were New York, Massachusetts, Washington, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and Virginia.
On Tuesday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said a program, known as the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals or DACA, will end in six months to give Congress time to find a legislative solution for the immigrants.
The participants were brought to the U.S. illegally as children or came with families who overstayed visas.
Those already enrolled in DACA remain covered until their permits expire. If their permits expire before March, 5, 2018, they are eligible to renew them for another two years as long as they apply by Oct. 5. But the program isn't accepting new applications.
Opponents of the program said they are pleased with the Trump administration's decision. They called DACA an unconstitutional abuse of executive power but proponents of the program said the move by Trump was cruel.
Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson said the action violates the due process rights of the immigrants. He said he fears the information the immigrants provided the government to participate in DACA could be used against them.
"It's outrageous, it's not right," an emotional Ferguson said at a news conference in Seattle. "As attorney general for the state of Washington, I have a hammer, it's the law."
Washington Gov. Jay Inslee joined Ferguson at the news conference and said "this is one more of a long train of abuses that this president has attempted to foist on this great nation."
Earlier this year, Ferguson sued Trump over his travel ban, which resulted in a federal judge blocking nationwide enforcement.
